As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 370 people, 172 households, and 114 families residing in the village. The population density was 671.5 people per square mile (259.7/km²). There were 191 housing units at an average density of 346.6 per square mile (134.1/km²). The racial makeup of the village was 99.73% White, and 0.27% from two or more races.
There were 172 households out of which 27.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.1% were married couples living together, 5.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 33.7% were non-families. 30.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 19.8% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.15 and the average family size was 2.63.
In the village the population was spread out with 21.4% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 24.9% from 45 to 64, and 24.1% who were 65 years of age or older.
